Abstract

Tetrodotoxin (TTX) and fatty acids contents of five specimens of Lagocephalus sceleratuscollected from Antalya on the Turkish Mediterranean coast were studied. TTX was determined by LC-MS/MS analysis in intestines, liver, ovary and muscle. Fatty acids were determined by GC/MS analyses. The oil content was not high (6%) but polyunsaturated n-3 and n-6 ratios were high.
